The government is using modern ICT in the development of services that are easy to achieve for most individuals in the various parts of the world. These mostly include digital ID and driving licenses (Meijer, 2015). The application of ICT in e-governance in the development of digital identification and driver’s license in the developed countries makes it easy for the identification of such services. Nations that do not have ICT capacity like the rest of the world are missing large when it comes to this element of e-governance. Such country is to making use of the manual or tradition methods of identification of its people, which are slow, inaccurate, and prone to errors of various kinds. Such nation is also missing on the element of safety that comes with these new methods of identification. The impact of this is a slow, insecure, and slower pace of service provision in various services (Pande, 2016).
